Gun StoreMaster™ is compatible with most common hardware devices and many different brands of peripherals on the market, so chances are that the equipment that you already have will work just fine.
If you are looking to get new hardware to work with your Gun StoreMaster™ account, or add to what you currently have but aren’t sure where to start, this page can give you some ideas. This list is by no means a comprehensive list of everything compatible with Gun StoreMaster™ (That would be a big list), but it does offer some ideas of devices that are popular among our users.
Computers
We recommend the implementation of at least one Windows based computer in your operation. This will allow you to take advantage of our automated bound book back up software – InStore which is included with Gun StoreMaster™ at no additional charge. A Windows computer will also allow our supported implementation of the DYMO label printing software.
Laptops
Laptops are the most versatile option for accessing Gun StoreMaster™ allowing you to station the device at a counter as a dealer terminal, travel with your operation, act as a portal inventory scanning terminal, or even as a customer facing device for use with fast4473™ to fill out section B of ATF Form 4473.

Tablets
Tablets and other touchscreen devices are ideal to be used for the customer facing interface to fill out Section B of the ATF Form 4473 via fast4473™. Tablets are popular among our users because they more cost effective than a computer, and do not take up very much space it becomes the perfect option to implement multiple tablets as customer devices. fast4473™ can run up to 50 active customer sessions at a time. We recommend having enough customer devices on hand to accommodate your expected background check volume. Most tablet brands and models are compatible for use with fast4473™. Printing: Forms and Documents
Having an all purpose printer is a must not only for printing documents and forms from Gun StoreMaster™, but all sorts of business operations too. We specifically recommend the use of laser printers, as they are the most economical option for high volume printing.
