Three Circle Software, LLC, announces the newest addition to the Gun StoreMaster software suite for FFL firearm dealers with the release of Gun StoreMaster InStore. InStore utilizes new hybrid technology that allows firearm dealers the ability to access their locally stored electronic firearm records via the Internet.
InStore was created to address the recent electronic firearm record keeping demands as defined in ATF Ruling 2013-5. In this ruling, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) clarified the requirements for electronic firearm record keeping in order to address the Bureau’s need to access firearm retailer records under certain circumstances.
InStore keeps firearm dealer’s acquisition and disposition information safely stored 'In-Store' while allowing access through Gun StoreMaster over the Internet. “It's the best of both online and offline worlds and is included free to all Gun StoreMaster subscription levels” says Steven Harris, CEO of Three Circle Software.
InStore is where the firearm dealer’s primary firearm data (A&D Log or 'Bound Book') is stored. Since InStore runs on a computer that the firearm dealer owns, the dealer always has access to their firearm data, even without Internet access. InStore automatically synchronizes with Gun StoreMaster - that means the firearm dealer uses a web browser to access the full features of Gun StoreMaster online while the firearm data automatically synchronizes with InStore.
